No job,no future!

Hi all.I wanted to start and get review on Australia aviation job market.Since 2011 i applied more than 100 jobs but no positive results.I didn't want to give up but no chance as i had to look after my family.
I have more than 6 years LAME Experience and also worked.on B737-400,800 also A320 and A 340.
I didnt get what they want.
i want to keep my hope still.
Help on that Please!!!

Are you on the books with any contracting companies?

DEC, ALG, ASC are the three main ones.

The maintenance industry has almost fully embraced sham contract arrangements these days. Expect to work as a contractor to get your foot in the door, then work really hard and one day an airline MAY directly hire you on a full time basis.

It appears English may be your second language, so I'd also make sure your cover letters / resume are checked by an English speaking friend to ensure they are up to scratch.

So pretty much like IT where every candidate and their dog holds a million certifications but can't do a simple task

Worked GA for most of my career and now I'm happy at a regional. Size of the machine doesn't matter....sure it strokes your ego working on jets but it's all still nuts and bolts.

* 6 years is not lots and over a few breeds makes that total time look less (to me - got a couple of years on each).

* Find out what you are doing wrong or what you need to do/change.

- I am more GA and had to do a bit of contracting (trial) to get my current full time job, so yes try the contractors for a foot in the door - but they will cut you fast if you are not up to speed. There is work out there on some smaller stuff till at least end of year that I have heard of.

Same for me but I have 25 years civilian experience, 5 trades under the old system, lots of group 20's and 21's. Been Avionics manager and Engineering manager for two large regionals but spent most of my career hands on, never came across an aircraft I couldn't fix, proud of my perfect record.
The problem for me is threefold.
First, EASA made my qualifications nearly worthless because everyone could be 5 trades if they wished by doing some short courses. I did 60 exams and 2500hrs of SOE to get 5 trades plus I had 8 years in RAAF where I was three trades and I had to do the entire course for each trade as it was a experimental system, first three trade in the RAAF.
Second, the flood of EASA 457 visa holders with make believe qualifications who will work for peanuts in exchange for citizenship destroyed the job market in Australia.
Third, my last employer and I had a disagreement due to my unwillingness to pencil whip jobs and the maintenance controllers SOE.
Therefor I haven't got a good reference for my last few years in aviation and the job was very specialized and secretive.
I could find work in say Mount Isa working for little reward and lots of risk but I work in construction industry now doing home automation. Its boring but well paid and I sleep at home most nights.
