I wanted to start and get review on Australia aviation job market.
* It is not great out there but a bit better than many countries.
Since 2011 i applied more than 100 jobs but no positive results.
* So no interviews?
I didn't want to give up but no chance as i had to look after my family.
* Employers don't give a dam about your family!
I have more than 6 years LAME Experience and also worked.on B737-400,800 also A320 and A 340.
* 6 years is not lots and over a few breeds makes that total time look less (to me - got a couple of years on each).
I didnt get what they want.

- I am more GA and had to do a bit of contracting (trial) to get my current full time job, so yes try the contractors for a foot in the door - but they will cut you fast if you are not up to speed. There is work out there on some smaller stuff till at least end of year that I have heard of.
