I have been called for psychological testing on Monday, can anyone please give me some information on the tests?
Be honest, be yourself and do your best basically.

Thanks Robben, was there yesterday, nothing could have prepared me, was almost surreal! Have to say that the lady was very helpful and did her best to make you feel at ease, so now I am hoping for a positive outcome!

Crj 700/900

Congratulation Air Baltic pilots!

Brand new CRJ 700/900's + Q400's.

Another bite of those extremely expensive SAS pilots market!

Good for Widerøe and Cimber Air, too!

Question Huh????

I can only find some information about Q400. Are they really going to have the CRJ as well?

Estonian Air of Tallinn, Estonia and SAS have placed firm orders for 13 Bombardier CRJ900 NextGen regional jets and have taken options on an additional 17, while Widerøe’s Flyveselskap A/S of Bodø, Norway and airBaltic of Riga, Latvia have ordered 14 Q400 NextGen high-speed turboprop airliners and have taken options on seven more.

Que...? CRJ to Air Baltic...? They are not - only Q400...

And good for Widerøe and Cimber...? What...? That WF will start operating Q400 again...? And what has Cimber to do with all this...?

Nah, CRJ's go to Estonian, none of these to BT, BT gets the Q400 only.

"Congratulations"!

Working in the Baltics for peanuts after having paid Your own typerating and trying to have a life on the extremely "good" schedule the SAS Group goons allows You, while getting the hours and experience that will land You a really good airline job, only problem is that those jobs are being exported to Your neck of the woods where You now will have to stay, good luck with that!

Foreign Air baltic pilots

I have a question for you guys flying for Air Baltic about accommodation. When you are flying are you guys staying on hotels or renting apartments in Riga? How much is it to rent an apartment in Riga?
Please let me know if you have good information about these things and what is the best thing to do.

Regards

we are renting apartments.
I guess most pay around 500-600 euroes a month.
For that price you can get an apartment with furnitures, tv and internet in the city center.

Apartment

Is it possible to find apartments on the internet or do I have to read the newspapers?
How did you (topper 74) get your apartment?

Regards,
storlax

Tip: Whatever you do, stay away from an agency called "OberHaus". Lately there have been at least two cases with this company, involving western BT employees, who had their rental contracts issued in both English and Lithuanian. The English language column stated the contract could be cancelled with 1 month prior notice, whereas the local language version said 1 year. Guess what prevailed.
