Recently declassified BRIXMIS imagery tends to confirm the view that that Tumanski engines of the period were generally reliable but suffered from occasional minor malfunctions of the reheat system.

Sergei's aviation career had begun in the normal manner with airfix kits, lighter fluid and bangers. It was unfortunate though that he hadn't outgrown this phase.

The latest stealth fighter, being the best, has no need of BVR weapons as the pilot closes in and uses his bowie knife to cut the throat of enemy aircraft...unfortunately the ability to make a stealthy seat still remains a mystery.
