Saving web pages

I have frequently done this, resulting in a .htm file.

Problem is, the original contained .jpg file(s) but the saved file doesn't.

Any way to solve this problem?

What web browser are you using?

IE should save the images to a folder named after the page you have saved. For example, if you saved a page hello.html to cwebpages then the images in this page should be saved into a folder called cwebpages\hello_files.

Mostly Opera, sometimes Firefox, NEVER IE.

as jason_slf said - if you select "complete" when saving, it puts the JPEGs in a separate folder. A HTML file does not "contain" the JPEGs, they sit in a separate folder and the HTML file links them in.

Thanks for the comments which have led me to discover that, instead of just blindly accepting 'Save as.....html file', if I click on the dropdown it also offers 'html file with images'.

I would prick myself with something but we're not allowed anything sharp in here.
