Saving web pages
I have frequently done this, resulting in a .htm file.
Problem is, the original contained .jpg file(s) but the saved file doesn't. Any way to solve this problem? |
What web browser are you using?
IE should save the images to a folder named after the page you have saved. For example, if you saved a page hello.html to c:\webpages then the images in this page should be saved into a folder called c:\webpages\hello_files. |
Mostly Opera, sometimes Firefox, NEVER IE.

as jason_slf said - if you select "complete" when saving, it puts the JPEGs in a separate folder. A HTML file does not "contain" the JPEGs, they sit in a separate folder and the HTML file links them in.

Thanks for the comments which have led me to discover that, instead of just blindly accepting 'Save as.....html file', if I click on the dropdown it also offers 'html file with images'.
I would prick myself with something but we're not allowed anything sharp in here. |
