It's pretty basic. Yes, they will ask you about past surgeries/hospitalization and will assess you if you're fit to work. Don't stress too much. You'll be fine.

Hey Flo, There are couple of us in the BNE talent pool. I too have done the water comp. Sally from recruiting called and left a voicemail on Thursday informing me of ground school confirmed for January 24th. I tried unsuccessfully contacting her on Friday. Fingers crossed I get to speak to her tomorrow. 🙏🏼

Got email today saying Im through to Online test yay so excited!!- says its timed and have to complete in 10 mins.

Re medical: I had surgery on my arm but Im going to get the surgeon to write a letter as hes said im 100% fit to work. Did anyone here pass the medical after having had a previous surgery? Im pretty sure it will be ok, just dont know how strict they are?

Got the call today. I've got my medical tomorrow through Sonic Health. Fingers crossed I make it. Then I can give notice to work before xmas. 👏🏼🎅🏼 Still need to get my first aid and rsa certificates.

Well done PETA - that's awesome news. Which assessment day did you go too? I'm in the talent pool as well but haven't reviewed a call yet so I might not get the offer for the Jan GS.

Hi Ayana, my assessment day was the afternoon session on September 26th. I turned down ground school in November. So Virgin knew I need to give at least 4 weeks notice to work. Maybe that's why I've heard already. I'm sure they'll be in contact soon.
I've got a nervous wait. I hope they get back to me with results asap. Before the weekend

My assessment wasn't until the 12th October. Good to see they are starting to work through the talent pool though. I'm sure you will hear back before the weekend - they seem to be really fast in their response times. Fingers crossed for you - keep us updated 😊

You'll need to wait until the schedule one. I had to wait months.

Hi flywme, regarding Auckland g/s, is that confirmed training from recruitment? I'm waiting for chc base- currently in talent pool and was told our training would be in Jan. Awesome to know akl training in February, just wandering if that would include chc base too? If unsure about chc base that's absolutely fine. Yet congrats!!!
