Thanks Ken,

A "paper" aeroplane; it didn't fly, but it caught my eye and I couldn't resist it.

American yes, Burnelli no, 'twas a serious proposal for a trans-Atlanic airliner. It just caught my eye when I was looking for someting else!

No mate I'm not getting up before I go to bed yet, but it does seem like a good idea.

Edit: I remember the Python Sketch, living in a paper bag rather than the one's "luxury of a shoe-box"

Lay in tomorrow, well until five

C'mon, what was that line from the Monty Python skit where a bunch of old codgers are trying to outdo each other in how tough their childhood was?

"I had to get up two hours before I went to bed!"

Then there was one who lived in a shoebox in the middle of the road?

Just read your edit!

Not famous or well known

Therefore not a Sikorsky. The company "Name" is quite Eye Catching as I said before and is quite high on an alphabetical list

Probably bigger than you'd think, designed to carry 34

The Cyclops Z-IV
That's the one Ken

Four motors in tandem. Touted as being able to "carry 34 passengers to Europe in 15 hours," there is no record of the design ever leaving the drafting table....

skytrain10 has control

I did, but..

Eye Catching
My logic went...CORNEA > CORNELIUS.

I did, but..
Not many carry exactly 34, in a Closed, high-wing Monoplane, so try 34pChwM in the search box

Thanks Trevor. It will have to be Open House as speed is down (again) and cannot upload.

So going to call it a night now and hope for some improvement tomorrow.

Cheers
