REX to transition to ATRs, start domestic jet ops
Just looking over the Saab fleet activity; are these guys really down to just 35 operational aircraft at this point?

saab operation is so bad i wouldn't fly on them, they lost many engineer's then tried recruiting from overseas engineer's who cant even change a lightbulb without supervision im surprised casa is not involved, what are they waiting for the next smoking hole is not far away at this rate

Based on what I know, around 60, but that has fluctuated slightly over the years. Currently approximately 20 parked due lack of engines and some other factors?
Huge training backlog for newly graduated Cadets. I've been told up to 6 months at this stage.
QLD and WA routes profitable due respective state governments subsidies, but Central and east coast bases not so good?
All this in the shadow of a domestic jet venture the likes of which has yet to see a long term successful outcome. At least in the 40 years that I've been in the game!
But hey, who really knows?
