I know it's an old chestnut, but I always feel that we as customers should be treated better.

Most staff are great and helpful at the many schools I have got to know, but I have still to find an owner who understands the concept of customer service. As for the so-called membership charges, well, quite frankly they are a joke.

There must be some good owners out there.

Compared to that bloke at Panshanger I think every airfield owner is polite!

It's worth a visit just to experience such profanity and pig-headedness.

It's a generalisation that is wrong. Not all. My flying school continues to thrive partly down to the owner being a decent chap.

If it weren't for him, I probably would have severals hours in a 150 by now :yuk:

Well if you want to speak to a flying school owner who is a thoroughly decent chap, who understands flying, flyers and customer service above and beyond the call of duty go and see Northamptonshire School of Flying at Sywell who do a first class job despite the efforts of the aerodraome owner who is not in my view, a decent chap. or visit www.nsof.co.uk
