Highly reflective glossy "glass" panels are exactly what you want when flying in the sunshine. It's not a problem we get in the UK though.

Years ago, Microsoft's Flight Sim had an approach aid which needed you to fly through a series of boxes, to ensure a perfect delivery to the runway. Did/does such a thing exist? It seemed so much easier than flying the needles!

i think they call it highway in the sky mgl i think do it maybe garmin ?

The VP400 looks pretty cool in the modern idiom, but prohibitively expensive I would imagine, especially as a certified installation
