Well after almost 3 weeks of sh*t weather and the strip being waterlogged, I checked the grass tonight at 7PM (found a few areas needing patching so dumped and rolled some soil in) and it was dry enough to T.O. and land.

Had a beautiful flight along the beach at Lunan Bay/ Montrose then swung north over the Mearns of southern Aberdeenshire and down the glens of Angus then back home for a greaser of a landing. Don't know why but I got such a buzz from this flight and just wanted to share it.

God I love flying !!!!!

Lucky you, been two weeks since I've flown, supposed to be off to Crosland Moor today but it's coming down in sheets here.

Anybody flying into Bruntingthorpe next Sunday for the cold war jets taxi day?

I'm hoping to fly in next Saturday and then stay overnight, as my Air Cadets will be there all weekend.
