FINALLY, dry enough to go flying tonight.
Well after almost 3 weeks of sh*t weather and the strip being waterlogged, I checked the grass tonight at 7PM (found a few areas needing patching so dumped and rolled some soil in) and it was dry enough to T.O. and land.
Had a beautiful flight along the beach at Lunan Bay/ Montrose then swung north over the Mearns of southern Aberdeenshire and down the glens of Angus then back home for a greaser of a landing. Don't know why but I got such a buzz from this flight and just wanted to share it.
God I love flying !!!!!

Lucky you, been two weeks since I've flown, supposed to be off to Crosland Moor today but it's coming down in sheets here.
