Has anyone here recently fitted a mode S transponder to their trusty wings ?
And might there be anyone .... who ... for health reasons :E (to much radiation etc..) or environmental reasons (recycling and all that) .. might want to get rid of an old Mode A/C box ?
As much as it pains me to say this .... I am contemplating "jumping" before "being pushed", and at least fitting some form of SSR ... :mad:
For future reference - any idea of costs for fitting, paperwork etcand recommendations for cheap and cheerful Mode S (that actually work) would be gratefully received.
