Any old, any old, any old .... transponders .. ?
Has anyone here recently fitted a mode S transponder to their trusty wings ?
And might there be anyone .... who ... for health reasons
(to much radiation etc..) or environmental reasons (recycling and all that) .. might want to get rid of an old Mode A/C box ?
As much as it pains me to say this .... I am contemplating "jumping" before "being pushed", and at least fitting some form of SSR ...
For future reference - any idea of costs for fitting, paperwork etcand recommendations for cheap and cheerful Mode S (that actually work) would be gratefully received.
