Flying School v Flying Club

I'd be interested to read the views of FI's from both "Schools" and "Clubs" with regard to how students are scheduled with instructors.

It would appear that "School" students tend to be scheduled with the same Instructor for most of the ab initio training, whereas "Club" students tend to fly with the next available Instructor on the day.

Is this the norm?
