Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

Flying School v Flying Club

I'd be interested to read the views of FI's from both "Schools" and "Clubs" with regard to how students are scheduled with instructors.

It would appear that "School" students tend to be scheduled with the same Instructor for most of the ab initio training, whereas "Club" students tend to fly with the next available Instructor on the day.

Is this the norm?

How many clubs and schools have you sampled in this survey?

What is the point you are trying to make?

I don't think there is that differential, generaly I think if it is called a school or a club depends on how the owner felt on the day he was naming it
