Cpt John Howard Evans RIP

John sadly passed away last week in his beloved South Wales.
John had a lengthy career in aviation, was founder of Air Wales as well as holding senior posts in airlines in the UK and Caribbean, In latter years he became a published author, his first book "Only angels have wings" is a great read and his second "We sang and whistled then" was published just days before his passing. A passionate Welshman who was also an accomplished pianist and friend for over half a century. Rest in peace John.

Dave and Terry in the office, without whom we'd have ground to a standstill. Total aviation people.

Just realised from the picture you are probably referring to Air Wales first incarnation in which case I can't help you though I suspect Terry may have been Terry Fox who later went to EAAC then I have no idea!

It was indeed.

Was it the first incarnation? Not sure. I had a feeling we were stepping in other's footprints. It was a brand new aircraft late 70's and Embraer were keen to get it established. BA did the training and maintenance.
