Keith Wordsworth(flight engineer)RIP ex RAF, Cathay Pacific, and Virgin Atlantic

I knew Keith on 205 squadron RAF Changi, he was one of three survivors of the Shackleton that crashed en route RAF Gan to RAF Changi in Novemberv1967. After being located the survivors were taken to Butterworth by an RN ship. After recovering from his injuries Keith went on to fly Britannias from RAF Brize Norton, and on leaving the RAF to fly with Cathay Pacific and Virgin Atlantic. In retirement he built and flew his own light aircraft. I lost contact with him after he had stayed with us while investigating the purchase of a new propeller from Cotswold Airport(Kemble).I have only just heard of his passing through the Shackleton Association magazine. He was reported to have died on 10th March 2020. Any more information or memories gratefully received.

Sorry to hear of Keith's passing. I was on 205 Squadron at the time and was appointed effects officer for a crew member, David Love. As i recall Keith was badly injured in the crash and never returned to the squadron.
