Roy Baron

Ex RAF, Oman Jaguar .

Worked with him at Loganair in mid 80's. He went on to BA Highland division on the ATP, later on 747 ?

Wonder how he's doing ?

I would imagine Roy will be a very senior 744 skipper now - and a very good one at that!

Well, ex-fighter pilots never appear short of confidence ?

I remember Roy because at the time I was struggling to convert my S.African Cpl to a UK one, and was under a lot of pressure. He guarantored a bank loan for me out of the goodness of his heart, but I remember him saying ' Just don't ---- me about !'

I wouldn't have dared !!! I wish him all the best.

Roy was indeed a 744 captain, but he retired about 4 years ago or thereabouts, I think.
