I know at least one is on facebook!

Along similar lines I realise it's not ITVV but does anyone know what Nick Carpenter and/or John Dooley from the World Air Routes Jet Magic Embraer DVD are doing these days?

Carter\Rattigan

Great reading on the whereabouts of Alan Carter and Alan Rattigan.
We enthusiasts take our hats off to these icons as they have reached a level that most of us can only dream of.
Trying to trace the history of Alan Carter is no easy task. He's been everywhere. Being stuck in my job for twenty years, how come these guys move around so often? Is Virgin a nightmare company to work for or something?

Great site

Think that's one of those 'Pilots Things' - same routes, same aircraft gets boring after a short time...aviation is a big world, lots to see and experience...

Euan Mclean is a Senior FO on the 777 for BA.

Les Brodie got a command post on the Concorde and infact flew the last ever Concorde flight from Heathrow to Filton in 2003 and retired with her. He now instructs part-time at the BAFC at Booker, High Wycombe.

I haven't seen the DVD myself but if it's the same guy then Nick went to Ryanair on the 737-800 and is now flying the 767 for ANA in Japan. I've seen the picture off the WAR website and it sure looks like the same guy. I flew with him just before he left for Japan.
Nice guy.

Cloud Bunny: Thanks for your reply. I've always enjoyed the JetMagic DVD and though that those guys would be great to fly with-nice to know that Nick managed to overcome the demise of JetMagic!

It was the Airtours A330 edition that was a training flight for the poor FO....
no pressure there then.... it was possibly his first sector as well...

Dave Steeley

Not a large update on 2005 but I had the pleasure of being flown by Dave Steeley from LGW-SFB on March 30, 2006. Looking for a career in aviation, I'd love to be able to get in touch with him!

Capt Alan Carter

Some updated news on Alan Carter from Virgins 747 400 film..

Alan is now flying B737 800 with Italian carrier Neos, and is also an instructor with Virtual Avaiation . They do simulator experience packages. That would be worth the money

Could anyone confirm whether Don Grange is still an easyJet captain based at LGW?

I would love to hear his voice from the flight deck on an easy flight one day!

He certainly was in '06 and perhaps still is unless he's retired for good now.

Captain D W (Dave) STEALEY retired recently from Monarch, with a spray salute from the fire service as he taxied the A330 to stand at Gatwick.
