AK skiplanes and ATP conversion

I am thinking (again) of heading to Anchorage or elsewhere in AK to do a skiplane ticket, and hire it for 5-10 hours and fly around to see the sights of the remote areas. Preferably a remote area which we can take the x-c skis and sleeping bags in the back, and spend a night or two with Mrs Stall in a remote cabin out bush. Any recommendations?

Any pointers as to what organisations would do this?

I am an Aussie ATP with 4000+ hours.

And on that subject, whilst here, I might see about getting a US ATP. Is there a link to the process? I found the validation form, but what is the process? I know it's been discussed when I was looking into it a year ago, but it seems to have changed a bit.

What's the latest?

Thanks in advance
