Suggestions for flying out of Vegas

I am looking into hiring a single piston and probably flying out of North Las Vegas (VGT). I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on airport(s) to fly to? I was thinking of Grand Canyon National Park (GCN) or are there better places to stop at? Any suggestions or advice would be great.

TryKingman in Arizona. Pretty cool place to see. A lot of airliners are parked there.
Also go toWinslow in Arizona. And locate the Meteor Crater and fly around it. It is pretty fun.
I also suggest Page, also in Arizona. It is a beautiful flight from VGT. Look for the painted desert. It is pretty cool !!
And of course GCN and look for Bryce Canyon
Good ole days back in the ditch !!!

Later and have fun in Sin City....
