Missing Friend

Hey you guys in the US. We've heard a rumour that a friend of ours may have been lost in a westwind accident a few days ago over the gulf. Info is in short supply here in the Land Down Under. He is a VERY good friend of a lot of people here and we need more info. Please, only the facts if you know anything.

Thanks heaps

A small jet clipped a power line and crashed on a highway Friday killing both people aboard.

The 1983 Westwind 1124 turbo jet crashed between Taos and Tres Piedras.

No cars were hit on the highway, which was closed after the crash. It was unclear whether the plane was trying to land on the highway or had mechanical problems.

The jet departed from Las Vegas. It was owned by Richmor Aviation in Hudson, N.Y., which said two people were on board.

Thankyou very much for your information people. That sounds like the one. I dont know the other pilot involved but I'm sure he will be as sadly missed as D.

Soar high my friend,
and remember,
there are no naked beer drinking sessions out there.
We love you D.

Does anyone know the previous operators of N61RS, S/N 384?
