Trip RIG/Duty RIG

Sorry for the Newbie type question..........trying to settle an argument in the pub (bar).

If on a 4 day trip with a duty each day, at the end of the trip, having returned to Domicile, do you get paid both Trip & Duty RIGs or just the greater of both?

Greater of Duty or actual per duty period, usually, trip rig only when it totals up greter than the accumulated duty periods.
