ATP certificate number

Hi folks,

I've got an ATP certificate but the license number is still pending.

Does anybody know how long the FAA takes to provide it?

Appreciate your help.

Thanks, rudestuff

Actually, it was a license conversion based on a foreigner ATPL. That's why I would really appreciate knowing it, or if there is any FAA link that could be checked for updates.

Cheers.

Ah, thought that might be the case. Is there anything on your temporary certificate? Have you searched yourself on the FAA airman directory?

No, it is just written "pending". I need to use this certificate for a job interview but I have no idea when it will be posted out.

Thanks.

If you’re waiting for your plastic certificate, it’s taking roughly 4-6 weeks to receive it right now.

Took me around 1 month but there are cases where one had to wait over 2 months.

Maybe it's worth checking on the FAA website with your name, and other details?

I just checked mine and there is no certificate number. Might be worth giving them a ring.

Thanks for your replies.

I'll be monitoring the FAA airman directory. I hope a certificate number can be provided prior to the delivery of my plastic card.

Happy New Year to everyone.
