Becoming a drone pilot to become a real pilot?

Hello everyone, I am new around here and wanted to say hi. I learned not too long ago I wanted to be a pilot; the problem? I don't exactly have 9k-12K to throw into a private pilot license. This is probably the biggest barrier, I am willing to study and learn but financing is going to be hard. I might have a solution to this problem though.

Being a professional drone pilot is one of two things I can fly legally and make money while doing it without costing an arm and a leg. I am also strongly considering working on being an ultra light instructor so I have two sources for lessons. Ultimately I am flying the smaller stuff so I can fly the bigger stuff. Drone pilots can make 54K a year so that isn't bad and is a start for sure. I have learned how to read sectional chart and other neat things that the FAA require you to know as a drone piot.
