Most likely, they have zero desire to work in the USA nor care how employment works in the USA. FAA licence is widely accepted around the world. They have a job on type, adding the type to their FAA gives insurance down the road for other expat jobs. It is a pretty common situation.

[QUOTE=bafanguy;11086268]These people appear to have an A330 program. I don't know anything about cost:
[QUOTE]
They say they are located in the Airbus facility on 36th Street and “make use of” sims at Airbus and Boeing, which also has a training facility on 36th.

1. Have your CAA verify your ATP to the FAA
2. Pass a Transportation Security Administration background check. You have to know which training center you are going to use because TSA has to forward their approval to the TC.
3. Complete an ATP CTP program which is 30 classroom hours and 10 hours of sim and does nothing to get you past step four
4. Pass the ATM written test
5. Complete an A330 training program
6. Pass the ATP checkride in an A330 sim
