Cessna 421C - GTSIO-520N
Greetings
We have a Cessna 421C fitted with GTSIO-520N. Recently we did the SOAP Analysis Test of the Oil for both the Left Engine and the Right Engine.
Attach are the reports. Would appreciate if I can get input on the Internal Health of the Left Engine compared with the Right Engine.

You might get some information from Blackstone's website, there is a link to a sample report that may show averages,
https://www.blackstone-labs.com/engine-types/aircraft/#
Sample "explanation" report here, (link on the left that says Aircraft Explanation) notice the far right column of the sample report is "Universal Averages."
https://www.blackstone-labs.com/serv...t-explanation/
However, it's my (limited) understanding that a single analysis doesn't really tell much, way more useful when used as a trend monitor.
Hope this helps.

I know from my days as a hangar rat many decades ago, that S.O.A.P. is indeed a trend monitoring tool, however there were a couple of contaminants that required "further investigation" if high levels were shown, even at initial readings...hope all is ok with your GTSIOs, they are a lovely machine when treated properly..
