B744 FAA Checkride
Can anyone recommend an FAA Examiner and a SIM for an FAA B744 checkride?
We are 2 pilots with EASA 744 type rating and currently operating on that type, and we're looking to get the rating on our FAA ATPs.

Don't forget you will need TSA clearances before hand.

You might contact Atlas Air. The company does have a couple of 400 simulators and several designated FAA check airman. Not sure if they are authorized to do non Atlas pilots or not. But, there are several FAA 400 check airmen in the area. The Atlas Training center is on 36th Street north side of MIA.

Under FAA rules you can not just take a checkride in a sim. Sim training/checking falls under Part 142 and 142 requires completion of an approved training program before a checkride. Atlas has an approved 142 training program but I don't know of them using it except for government contracts. Boeing and Pan Am, both also on 36th street in MIA have 744 training programs.
