Extending ATP theoretical exam validity
Hi guys...
In 2014 I did my ATP theoretical exam in Miami and was given until the end of July (2016) to do my check ride. This was before FAA change the rules for the ATP obtention...
What happens is that I live in Brazil and the Dollar x Real currency became quite out of control and the amount required to do this in a FFS (I'm type rated on the 737) was way above my pay scale.
Recently, a friend of mine started a flight school in Florida and offered a much better price to check my ATP in a Seneca II.
The thing now is: I'm quite out of time to start my process with FAA and get enough days off to go to Florida and do all the flying required.
There's any way to extend that initial time frame given to me ?
