Fort Lauderdale ablutions?
I am flying from the west coast (LAX) to Fort Lauderdale, (FLL) for a renewal of my MCA ENG1 (maritime medical), next Monday.
I arrive at 0508 and my medical is at 1300. As I will have worked the previous day and then taken the red eye I'd like to at least shower and freshen up before it. I can deal with paying for lounge access to waste the time before flying home.
FLL doesn't seem to have any shower facilities, including the lounges. Does anyone know of any hotels that would let me check in early am for a day stay rather than pm for a night stay?
Or worse case any friendly FBOs where the staff would let me have access to the shower in return for candy/donuts?
