Best type rating schools
I recently got a job at sim training center as an SIC intern. I need to get an unrestricted type rating in order to become an instructor there. This is going to require the check ride to be in an actual jet. I was hoping to get some professional opinions on where I should go to do this.

That's exactly how it's usually done at FSI. I knew a kid who did the SIC thing there for a year. He subsequently used his FSI provided type rating to get a job as an SIC on Lears. Paid intern to type rated Lear pilot in a year, then off to go flying. Based upon my own experience flying with this individual, it worked out pretty well. It's been my understanding that CAE and Bombardier make similar arrangements with select individuals as well.
Work hard, learn the ropes, be flexible and quietly become the best and most reliable SIC. You know, the one customers actually request to fly with. Word gets around. As far as I know, that's the fastest and surest track to your goals in the training center environment. Or most anywhere in aviation for that matter.
