Skymates TX information.

Good morning, I'm Ralph, an Italian guy, and I hope I'will become a pilot. I've 19, and I'm ready to start a flight school. I thought the best school for my needs was the Skymates in texas, one for the price, two for the review that I read in the italian section of this forum. The problem is just that, I have feedback only from italian guys, that said the school is very good, the personal is good like also the planes too. But now I want, if possible, also a feedback from american guys, do you think is it a good school? There are employment opportunities after the school? Thank you very much to all.

Thumbs up

Hey...I am not an american...I am an Indian by the way.....i was associated with Skymates back in 2007 for my SIM training on their multi engine PCAD and i can tell you they were extremely professional people....right from the owner who happened to be italian american to the instructors....they had plenty of aeroplanes for the training and all the latest ones too..... the weather in Arlington ( GKY) where they were based was decent enough to fly pretty much throughout the year........although the city itself has not a lot to offer and is pretty dull for a teenager like u...........i totally recommend tht place for flight training based on my experience and also by a lot of my friends and countrymen who have flown with them...as far as employment opportunity goes u can always do the instructor course and become an instructor there.....other than that i do not see any opportunities for employment in the aviation field once ur right out of a fresh CPL.....hope it helps.....thumbs up......

Thank you very much for your witness. I hope I'll receive also others too. Maybe this is my choose, especially for the price.

I did my training in Skymates back in 2013 and i can say it's a good school. As an Italian you will not have any problem due to Italian instructors if you have language problems. Very good fleet and the prices are OK.

He would have hard times in landing a pilot job with limited English though.
