Foreign registered bizjet in the U.S - VAT problems?

We are planning to leave a D-registered Citation C525 (private operation) in Florida for 2 months. Is there a time limit for a foreign registered aircraft to stay on U.S soil (the aircraft would not leave and re-enter the U.S in that time frame) before the authorities claim the VAT on the value of the aircraft.
Are there any other restrictions to operate a D-registered aircraft (pilots nationalities is German and Austrian) within U.S airspace resp. to have the aircraft in the U.S for two months?

In South Africa e.g custom officers told us that you have to pay the VAT on the value of aircraft if it stays longer than 7 days in South Africa.

Thanks for any input,

Cecco

There is no VAT (as such) in the US.
