Are there some decent jobs in the US left?

Hi,

I'm just wondering, is there a decent job as a First officer in the US of A. Right now I work in Europe n a BAE 146 and I have about 1500 hours. But I just have the idea of moving back the US. But I'm not sure if I will find a good job with good pay? I also have a European Air Transport Licence so I again am not sure if I have pass some tests for a FAA Licence?

If you have some information, I would be really thankful.

Greetings

Short answer:

There are jobs at the moment for pilots with 1500 hours. They are not good. Or decent, by most standards. You will need to pass an FAA ATP exam and checkride. If you don't already have the right to work in the U.S., employment is practically a non-starter at this juncture.

As an American about your age with more flight time with you in the process of punching out for expat work, I suggest looking elsewhere or staying put.
