G4 intercepted by F16's
Anybody know why Time-Warners' G4 was intercepted on Friday? Apparently they were enroute ANC - IAD when they were intercepted and forced to land in Brandon MB. Newspaper reports say they were "squawking the wrong code." Something like that would really ruin the whole day.

According to the CBC they were squaking a hijack code and were subsequently intercepted and required to land by Canadian F-18s. Interesting to watch the crew and pax walk across the barren ramp to awaiting authorities. I didn't really understand how you could make that squak and 1. not know it and 2. not correct it when the sherriff showed up. How many queries from ATC would it take before you got it figured out?
