Thumbs up

Work prospects in Alaska is quite good. The more remote you go, the more flying there is usually. There are lots of companies to tap into. Some are VFR and a mix of VFR/IFR companies.

In terms of foreign sponsorship, it will be a difficult and a very lenghty and expensive process to try. Even if the company is willing to hire you, the INS will simply tell them to hire an American or a qualified person who has the right to work and live in the US. I always hear the saying, unless you have 10,000 other skills besides flying, you may stand a chance getting that "green" card at the end of the day.
