Have problems when over China?
Hi all,
Flights between the US and China are increasing rapidly.However,there is a problem
need to be mentioned--pilot/controller communiation.
The ability of speaking and understanding
English language of most Chinese controller
remains unsatisfactory.Of course,it is Chinese aviation authority's responsibility
to have those guys well trained.But we'd better face the reality.
For some flights,it takes you quite a few hours to cross the big country.If something unfavorable happens,how you gonna
ask for assistance since the controller seems
only understand your routine position report.
Is there any special means to deal with those
contingencies for different operator?
If you experienced such in-flight contingency related to the topic above,I would be appreciated you post your story here.
