Question Flight training in US...

Hi everybody,

I am a portuguese fellow looking for the best path to become an airline pilot. I am seriously considering the US for my flight training. What I would like to know is if there is any chance for a non-US citizen or resident to get employed by a US airline.

I would also love to hear some comments on the best schools and the worse.

Please feel free to talk anything about this kind of situations: An EU citizen wishing to enroll in a US flight School and looking up for employment after the training.

I really need your feedback on this one. Thank you. Looking forward to hear from you!

Best,

Do228

I am doing some private flying at Ahart aviation in Livermore, California. They do have a professional programme, although I am not sure how well it compares with some of the big names in the bay area. They aren't too bad though and I guess it will be cheaper.
