Allegiant Air

Does anyone out there know what kind of outfit Allegiant Air is? Very interested in learning a bit about them as I am not in the general area. Appreciate any feedback

I've seen them operating thru' Long Beach Ca. using DC-9'S. That's all I know, sorry.
