FAA 737 Type Rating

Does anyone know what would be the most cost-effective way of obtaining an FAA 737 type rating? I have 700 hours as F/O on the 737-200, but that was 10 years ago. I am flying in Europe currently, I can do the rating here or in the US. I am expecting a Southwest Airlines interview in the near future; I will need this rating if things go well and I receive a job offer. Any information gratefully received.

Can recommend a school i Dallas called "Higher Power Aviation".

I know the owner/manager personaly and he is a god man.

Got my own B-737 type 10 years ago in Dallas at ACT, now out of business. There I met Mark Sterns, then CFO. He left and started his own school "Higher Power Aviation".

Good program.

I never got a job with Southwest, but did not regret shelling out 7K for the ticket.
After taxes was calculated and refuned, the real cost was more like 5K.

I know him too. I have done some training there good place and good people. Just talked with Mark on the phone a few days ago.

If ya see some jet models in his office, a 3' long Kuwaiti B-747 among others, they were

(Bought a smaller house in FL and had no room
for every jet I had collected and flown)
