Post Float flying in PANC

Will be in Anchorage for a few days and I want to do some float plane lessons. Any suggestions re. schools etc, so I can do some groundwork before arriving. Cheers.

I do not remember which operators offer instruction, but the Lake Hood Seaplane Base (KHLD) in Anchorage is probably where you want to go. I believe it is the busiest one in the world. Try the airport number of907-266-2600 and ask them for some names. Ketchum Air Service is a good operator there, but I do not know if they offer instruction or not. This is a good time of year, because the tourists have mostly left. Good luck.
