Hi,
Can anyone tell me how close is the action in Reno? Are you close such as in some airshows where you can really see and hear the action or have the lawyers got it so you are 1/2 mile away? What is best way to REALLY see the race this year?

Regarding distances, unsure of the exact figure but I'd say the crowd line is a good 600mtr from the pass along the finishing straight. Its not possible to get out to the pylons without a press pass either. The best place to get close, is from the unofficial campsite out at the " Valley of Speed " but you need a vehicle to get out there really. This is where the unlimiteds get wound right up as they head for the final pylon before the finish line.
However, the atmosphere in the pits and in the Section 3 grandstand is not to be missed! You'll need at least 4 days to soak it up.
It truelly is the Holy Grail for Worshippers of The Big Pistons.
