ATP checkride and Beechcraft 1900 ratings

ATP checkride and Beechcraft 1900 ratings
I am hoping to visit the USA with a colleague (we are both UK nationals) to do our FAA ATP check rides and couple this with a B1900 rating. We are both already rated on the plane on our ICAO licences.
I would appreciate any specific school recommendations. As we are funding this ourselves, we are anxious to keep costs down.
(I appreciate that we will need Cat 2 TSA clearance and M-1 visas.)
