f27m50 15th May 2013 13:56

anybody who got a positive mail? would be nice to have some light at the end of the tunnel ;)

Father Fintan Stack 15th May 2013 13:59

A PFO for me also - 2500TT, civilian turboprop driver from the UK.

The very best of luck to those who made it through to the next stage.

ReallyAnnoyed 15th May 2013 14:07

If there indeed were 3,500 applicants and 200 alleged spots, then well over ninety percent will be told thanks, but no thanks. Was very different when I joined many moons ago as the company was screaming for pilots.

perceval 15th May 2013 14:12

OK , I had to try the 'tunnel' thingy on my laptop's pad and the mental arithmetic hasn't always been my strong point , but I do wonder what the tests are telling them about our flying abilities . Just wondering . Wasn't my day either anyway . Good luck to those who passed .
10,000 TT DHC-6 , L410 , C208 ..etc...etc...

DutchSchaeffer 15th May 2013 14:16

PFO for me too, ex-mil 2000 hrs FJ.

Best of luck to everyone still in the running.

smalljetpilot 15th May 2013 14:50

Me too

PFO :(
It was nicely written but that made it worse!
As I scrolled down on my phone I thought I'd made it through for a second :(

eaglesnest1972 15th May 2013 14:51

10000TT?!!!!!

My god...well mate, lets take it with phylosophy...

Cheers:ok:

PROP KING 15th May 2013 15:02

3500TT, 1500 PIC on F50 & Q400...... PFO twenty minutes ago.

sps1013 15th May 2013 15:15

PFO's clearly going to those people with real life experience and a desire to fly.

Welcome to easy jet letters going to Daddies little rich kids willing to pay for a career.

...simple really.

Nothing really changes in this field.

The English Passenger 15th May 2013 15:16

PFO for me too, mil QFI, 4500 hrs on lots if types (2500 multi).

I will console myself in the knowledge that loads applied and only a few will get through. If the poster above with 10,000 he's got PFO'd then there must be some very capable and experienced/type rated people applying.

No rush, I have a secure job, just looking for a different shade if green (or orange?).

The English Passenger 15th May 2013 15:20

Excuse my spelling above... iPhone & fat fingers!

flylite 15th May 2013 15:22

PFO for me too. 7500hrs+ 5000hrs command, jet time etc. obviously not capable of sitting in the RHS! Oh well!

1013 with altsel 15th May 2013 15:24

4000TT Jet PFO

Good luck to everyone waiting!

Fat Dog 15th May 2013 15:47

PFO.

4000+ Boeing LHS.

gpsman1 15th May 2013 15:47

10600 TT 8000 jet time 600 A320 family, did not pass either.
I thought that even Capt. Sully, the hero who ditched the Airbus in the Hudson would have failed it.
About verbal reasoning... instead of trying that impossible task, wouldn't have been better just to wild guess all the 18 answers?

superdash 15th May 2013 15:55

PFO here also 2000TT Turbo Prob all right seat.

Maybe easyjet are attempting to put NASA out of business by stealing all their commanders ;)

Superpilot 15th May 2013 16:09

Guys, so sorry to hear that. Waiting patiently for mine. Out of interest when did you guys do the assessment? Towards the beginning or end? (Beginning for me)

SpamCanDriver 15th May 2013 16:23

Damn thought I might of made it through but just received the PFO :{

6000hrs 737/757/767/777
