Redsnail and those interested,

In Italy it's 5354 for everyone until the next 1st of April (except for those serving their initial period on flexi roster).
Note: some Captains have voluntarily accepted flexi roster during this summer months with a salary uplift.

From, and including, 1st of April 2014, 5454 for everyone, then again, except for those who are still on their period as new joiners, who, after a specified time (based on experience and time served as flexicrew), will join the 5454 as everyone else.

Hope the above clarification helps.

And yes, continental Europe Captain transfer lists are quite long presently. But no one forces you to take up Command and move to LGW or wherever.
Lifestyle for many, including myself, it's much much more important than THE job upgrade :)

Best of luck to those on the recruitment drive!!

Interesting to read monarch are starting to interview.
Bet there are a large proportion of us in both queues.....
Hopefully one of them will come good.

Does anyone have any idea when we are likely to start hearing about the online assessment results?

By the way, I found the "tunnel game" used in the assessment, online. It's a little late now but there we go.

Missle 3D

eaglesnest1972 9th May 2013 10:18

I think they have started last 6th of may so, given the numbers, i think it will take some 7 to 10 days to have the results and the infos regarding the next steps (if anyn of course):ok:
fingers crossed...

flyer19832007 11th May 2013 16:32

Anyone heard anything yet?!

The email did state we'd hear shortly after...good or bad.

I don't know anything about these online tests but I can't imagine there will be someone sat analysing each individual result?!

Hope we hear soon!

eaglesnest1972 11th May 2013 16:40

Heard nothing yet too...
I guess the hr guys and girls in luton are having pretty busy days...
Fingers crossed...

flyer19832007 11th May 2013 16:44

I suspect so.

Not sure what kind of system to screen is being used but I'd have imagined with 2000+ rumoured applicants, some automatic system would be in place to filter the initial tests.

Who knows, what will be will be!

airbuske 12th May 2013 11:04

I mailed easyjet for the results : "We shall be in touch in the next couple of weeks." HR

samca 13th May 2013 18:16

I don't know that 2000+ pilots did the test,

It is ridículous to call all this people for 200 positions.

Still waiting also, i think probably It takes around 1 or 2 weeks more.

Let see

eaglesnest1972 13th May 2013 20:04

Why should it be ridicoulous?
Its a way to test the market for them.
And yes, they will look deeply into all the applications after the tests result.
If someone did bad will not necessarily be thrown out if he/she has some other potential strong points.
This is common HR practice.

Alexander de Meerkat 13th May 2013 20:16

There have been 3,500 applications for around 200 jobs. Nearly every single eligible applicant (ie right to work in Europe, min experience etc) has been given the tests and also current easyJet pilots have been asked to 'recommend a friend'. As you might imagine there is an enormous amount of data collecting and sifting to be carried out by a small team of very busy people. Hard as it is, patience is the order of the day while the vetting and decisions over interviews are sorted out. Good luck to one and all.

eaglesnest1972 14th May 2013 08:08

Alexander,

given you are an "orange" man, what is your opinion about this recruitment drive?
What is EJ looking for?

thanks:ok:

samca 14th May 2013 08:46

I think It is not practical to call 2000 pilots for 200 positions. It is a extra work absurd for the HR Recruitment Team.

What parameters define if a pilot is the right candidate?, this test Should be done in their facilities. I can get help from other people and nobody will know.

Anyway good luck and let see if they give su any feedback soon.

Guy of Gisborne 15th May 2013 08:09

Pony Poo I did my JAA ATPL exams online.. Got 100% in each subject!

A big up for online testing.

That's a joke, right?

samca 15th May 2013 08:28

Jajajajaja, It must be joking!,:D

Pony Poo 15th May 2013 09:27

Guy of Gisborne

If it wasn't a joke would you take my ATPL at face value? Doubt it.

Online pysche testing is worthless. A money maker for someone, that's all.
