easyJet FO Pay - continental bases
 

Just wondering what the average starting wages/take home pay I for crews based abroad. In particular what do they start on after the move from flexi to permanent jobs abroad after tax on average?

The French contract is around E78,000 basic and E35 a sector plus uniform dry cleaning allowance. European colleague's pocket between E6000-6500 a month after social security...but under the French system the French have to pay there own tax at the end of the tax year which is about E7000 this is low as there social security is quite high. SFO >1500 hrs.....Captains pocket between E11000-12000 a month after social security, E126,000 basic.

Italian contract is similar but a lower basic, higher sector pay, they pocket good money but work hard for it.

As for Madrid....well!!

We fly for the same company but have different unions...the French have the SNPL, they no like they strike :=:=

Those figures are, sadly, incorrect.

Work on 5K for Senior FO (junior FO is less) and 8k for a Capt and you wont be disappointed.

As for SNPL they have done a one day strike in six years.

The new PARC 2 year fixed term Berlin contract will get you around 1,800 €/month after tax and social security. Great, eh.

So go elsewhere. I would genuinely let someone else do this job for that money. How can people even repay their loans? Life's too short.

The figures are correct for your take home pay each month. SFO on french social security 6-6.5k. On UK NI, averaging 7.3-7.6k.

Unfortunately you've missed the boat now for the UK NI option. But the French figures are correct (and you get in on their excellent pension scheme). Please be advised these figures are BEFORE tax.
If you work on 6-8k per year in tax you won't go far wrong.

Come loyalty bonus month each year I've heard of Captains from Madrid and Paris pocketing well over 20K.

Captain Spam Can, you are on the money concerning France, but...
SFO: 7300€/month before tax, if you are on UK NI, you can't be on French tax so you have to pay according the treaty between the UK and your country of residence. (eg 30% if you are a UK resident up to 50% if you live in some other countries). So take home 3700€-4900€ (2900£-3800£) and almost NO pension at all, company pension 0, UK state pension if you pay for more than 11 years, which may be impossible due to the new EU law.
This new law now puts you on French social security, pay BEFORE tax 5800€, after taxes, depending on your country of residence, 2700-3300€ (2100-2800£) but good French pension, if the system still exists when you retire.
If you are a French resident take home +/-5000€/month after taxes and good pension.

MXP SO (sub-1500 factored and fATPL) take-home after tax between €4000-5000 depending on how hard you work. A zero hour month nets €2700 basic.

Basic increases by about €600 per month when FO, then when SFO (2500 factored and management approval) you will get about another €600 on the FO basic.

Nil - no chance - zero

Spicejetter have you joined easyJet as a Flexi FO? There are guys being stood down over the winter and there have been no assessments for permanent contracts abroad for a long time now.

To be fair, the last assessments were in march.
Theyve just accepted apicationa for Gva and Bsl with easy Swiss and mainland Europe is rumoured to be opening again soon.. So there are opportunities.

Required hours on type
 

Will they change the required 500 hours on type to lower ones?

ArmApp, they will only do something like that if they can't find enough applicants with 500 hours or more which is pretty unikely. 500 seems standard.

EdamSurprise, if that is so, then that is good for those effectively at the top of the flexicrew pile for assessment, but still means nothing for anybody joining Flexicrew now.

I am flying for Wizzair and I am thinking about to apply for this easyjet position. do you think it is a better job? because 1800 euro after tax is a joke, isn´t it?
What will you earn if you are based in Berlin? I have seen you get 67 euro per block hour. so you can expect 5000 euro before tax. Is that correct?
