Qatar Airways T&C

Anybody out there know the T&C for DEC in QA?(A320)

Aussie 5th December 2011 19:51

Rumour they just got a big payrise from the Qatarii Gov... but lets wait for someone to confirm that yet....

Flyingstig 6th December 2011 04:23

Thanks Devine!

11600usd?? Is that it?there must be some other perks hidden somewhere..

Flyingstig 6th December 2011 17:49

Isn't it interesting. A genuine enquiry about T&C generates little interest. Nothing controversial or bitchy, so no interest!
Oh well.
:ugh:

Over 7 grand a month is very interesting, but as in all things, the devil is in the detail.
Hours flown, days off, holiday allowance, staff travel, medical insurance, management support etc.
These are the things that really make your life pleasant or otherwise
Anyone else got more info on T&Cs and not just wonga?

Flyingstig 6th December 2011 19:03

Thank you 3 wings! My point entirely.
Bring it on.

Hi All:
all types the same?...is that basic salary? plus hours and per diem maybe? it would be interesting to have an idea of the total package, is the school allowance enough to cover school costs? retirement fund? etc... I have learned as an contract pilot that there is a lot of things that you never consider before leaving for a seemingly better job, insurance, stability..etc,......anyway, the point is, is it worth to leave a 777 renewable contract in Asia, for an indefinite contract and sacrifice a bit of money and quality of life for job security?....
comments welcome

I'm keen to hear more about the payrise mentioned in the first reply!

:ok:

jaarrgh 8th December 2011 04:46

Government jobs for Qataris received a large increase but not for QR. QR had a payrise earlier in the year which amounted to about 12% of the total (monthly cash in your pocket).

Aussie 8th December 2011 09:57

Yeah that sounds right then. I know someone in Qatar got payrise from Gov, but wasnt sure who!

Cheers

loc22550 8th December 2011 13:40

Back to the payrise mentioned above:
30%..60%..100%+.. increase has been intoduced recently for Qataris employees only..in some government jobs (Banks,...),.with the arab spring all around,we never known:..militaries got a 200% payrise...:E
A simple coincidence...:=
