Turkish airlines recruitment
Can anybody give me possible feedback on flying for turkish airlines B738 fleet. I'm trying to find out what their flying roster is like, approx monthly hours flown and if at all possible what are starting salaries like - fisrt officer and captain.
Thank you |
Capt c17000 TL/month in a weakening currency due geopolitcal proximity to mid east
no leave first year. 2 2 2 1 1 are sequence of days off..doesn't say how much you work in between.....I'm guessing 6 probably sometimes 5 phone must be on 24/7 leave in the first year you pay training costs....unquantified if they fire you in first year ' with just cause' you pay training costs essentially one year probation period :ok: basically |
Can they take the money from me? sure, they have to catch me first....

alright Damianik,
let me put it this way you pay training costs for your letter of reference and depending on how close they are to the DGCA a letter of no incidents, accidents or investigations. Wthout those 2 things you won't get another job flying v |
You Only need a reference from an operator you use the hours from.
I explain, i worked 2 months for an italian operator on a HS125, then i applied for a B737 job, do you think i bothered getting a reference from that HS125? not. That is the point. This is valid in any case, but to be fair, i plan to stay put in Turkish for a while, just i am not very pleased at changing of conditions on the run, and if it changes again i guess i would be forced to leave. The price to pay, if fair, will be paid, if not, will be left unpaid. D |
So Damianik, how do you like the Atakoy Marina hotel then?
You won't see much of Turkey by staying in your room all day V |
if you are in hkg you have to apply the time difference before you judge if i am all day in the room or all night...and in either case, Istanbul never sleeps...
:-) D |
training costs etc
anybody ever left turkish airlines in the first year?
how much is the training bond? |
NOBODY needs a leter of recommendation or incident free from Turkish !
Just to put the facts right - Vikena or so - is absolutely WRONG, as
NOBODY needs a letter of recommendation or proof of incident free from the clowns in Turkish HR ! := It all depends on Your whole CV - the last bit of flying for a scruffy operator like Turkish is almost negligable - i definitively didn't need it for my new job as skipper on A 330!:ok: |
THY
